Mountain Grove, MO. – A Mountain Grove driver was involved in a crash in the late afternoon of February 2nd, leading to serious injuries.
The driver of a GMC Envoy was travelling along Hidden Valley Drive, roughly 3.5 miles Southeast of Mountain Grove, when they left the left side of the roadway. They then tried to return to the road and overcorrected, causing them to exit the roadway on the right side, striking both an embankment and a tree.
Diana Dawson, 67 of Mountain Grove, was the driver and lone injury of the crash, but sustained injuries listed as being serious in severity. For these injuries, she was transported by air ambulance to Mercy in Springfield.
The investigator of this crash was Trooper C.L. Davis of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Troop G.
