Ethan Albert Pulliam

Ethan Albert Pulliam, son of Audie Albert and Angela Dawn (Simpson) Pulliam, was born on July 7, 2003, in Springfield, Missouri, and departed this life on February 11, 2023, in Winona, Missouri. He had attained the age of 19 years, 7 months.

Ethan is survived by his parents, Audie and Angela Pulliam of the home; one brother, Zachary Earl Pulliam; two grandmothers, Janet Kay Pulliam of Winona, MO, and Janice Louise Simpson of Wilderness, MO; very special great-aunt, Judy Parcel of Clinton, MT; one aunt, Theresa (Steve) Rightnowar of Winona, MO; three uncles, Billy Pulliam, Bobby Pulliam, Bradley Pulliam, and families; several aunts and uncles, cousins, and friends to mourn his passing.

Ethan is preceded in death by one sister, Emily Allyson Pulliam; two grandfathers, Earl Monroe Simpson, and Donnie Gene (Jody) Pulliam; and many more family members too numerous to name.

For most of his life, Ethan was a student of the Winona R-3 School and was currently attending State Technical College of Missouri, majoring in HVAC. He had a special love of the industrial arts program at Winona R-3, where he successfully competed at State competitions. Ethan also had a love for history, and competed in the quiz bowl starting in middle school all the way through high school. Ethan, also loved the outdoors, including hunting and fishing with family and friends.

In Ethan’s short 19 years, he touched the lives of everyone around him.  His little smile and sense of humor found its way into everyone’s heart that knew him. His kind and gentle soul brought out the best in those around him, and will be remembered always by his family and friends. Ethan will be remembered as a beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend.

His memory will live on in the hearts and memories of all of us who loved him.

Graveside services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 15, 2023, at Pleasant Site Cemetery, Fremont, Missouri, with Pastor Darrell Derryberry officiating, under the direction of Yarber Mortuary, Winona, Missouri.
