Willow Springs, MO. – A two-year-old juvenile was fatally injured in a vehicular accident that occurred yesterday afternoon.
The location of this accident was on private property in a parking lot 1/2 a mile Southwest of Willow Springs. Ean Wake, a 22 year-old from Willow Springs, had gotten into a 2016 GMC Sierra that was parked. Wake attempted to move the vehicle forward without knowing or seeing that a 2-year-old male, also from Willow Springs, had walked in front of the vehicle.
The unidentified male was fatally injured in the collision, and was pronounced deceased by Doctor Daniel Kolm from Ozarks Healthcare at 3:27pm.
This accident was investigated by Trooper M. Barron, and assisted by Trooper R.D. Crewse, both of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Troop G.
