22nd Annual Art Around Town Exhibit to Start in Late March

West Plains, MO. – Local Elementary School Students will be the stars of the show in this year’s annual Art Around Town exhibit.

The Art Around Town exhibit will feature both two and three-dimensional art pieces created by children from kindergarten grade, up to the 8th grade.

School districts included are: Dora, Fairview, Glenwood, Howell Valley, Junction Hill, Koshkonong, Mountain View/Birch Tree, Richards, Thayer, West Plains and Willow Springs.

Each of these schools can display up to 30 pieces of art, and the exhibition will include an awards ceremony. The exhibit is scheduled for March 21st through the 29th, and the awards ceremony will be on March 26th at 2:30.

The exhibit can be found on the mezzanine at the West Plains Civic Center, and will be able to be viewed during regular Civic Center hours. This annual exhibit is made possible through the continued partnership between MSU-West Plains and the West Plains Council on the Arts.
