Severe Weather Preparedness Week Continues

Today is Tuesday and marks the second day of Severe Weather Preparedness Week. This week was created for the purpose of informing and reminding the people of Missouri and Kansas of the dangers inherent within this area of the country and this upcoming time of the year.

In an article yesterday, we wrote about the Statewide Severe Weather Drill, which is in line with this year’s day-to-day theming. The day-to-day themes are as follows:

Tuesday: Tornadoes & Tornado Safety
Wednesday: Lightning Safety
Thursday: Wind & Hail Safety
Friday: Flood Safety
