Shaun Matthew Dryer, son of Gary and Cindy Riley, was born March 2, 1978, in Kansas City, Kansas, and passed away March 7, 2023, at his home in Mountain Grove, Missouri. He was 45 years and 5 days of age.
Shaun enjoyed fishing and hunting. He also loved the Kansas City Chiefs. He enjoyed watching and cheering on the Chiefs and he was even able to attend a Chiefs’ game a few years ago with his son, Jaxson. He loved family gatherings, and enjoyed any time the family was able to get together and share a meal.
Shaun was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Chester and Shirley Dryer, his paternal grandparents, DeWitt and Christine Riley, two aunts, Frances Dryer and Sharon Beebe, and one uncle, Larry Riley.
He is survived by his parents, Gary and Cindy Riley, eight children, Kaela Wheat and her husband, Tyler, Jamison Cain, Evan Dryer, Kylee Lempeck, Nick Bunts, Shaun Dryer Jr., Jaxson Dryer, and Jayden Dryer, two brothers, Gary Riley II and his wife Shanna, and Zeb Riley, five grandchildren, Braylon, Kylie, Khloe, Case, and Emazia, two nieces, Hannah Riley and Ahnnah Rae Riley, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins who will miss him.
