Gainesville Health Care Center building damaged in Vehicle Fire

Gainesville, MO. – A vehicle caught fire on March 10th and the blaze was large enough to damage part of the Gainesville Health Care Center (GHCC).

Pontiac and Tecumseh Fire Departments were called in to assist with the blaze due to complications of short staffing. The damage to the vehicle was extensive and made rooting out the cause of the fire impossible to determine.

The damaged building was a storage building and not GHCC proper. The Ozark County fire departments issued a big word of thanks to the Pontiac and Tecumseh Fire Departments for their assistance.
