West Plains, MO. – Ozarks Healthcare’s BHC will be hosting another art show this year coinciding with Mental Health Awareness Month in May. This year’s show will be working under the theme: “Pieces of Me”.
The art show will feature three divisions for artists, including 8th Grade Students and under, High School Students, and Adults.
Prizes for this year are as follows:
– Eighth grade and under: first place – $50, second place – $25, third place – $10
– High school: first place – $100, second place – $75, third place – $50
– Adults: first place – $150, second place – $100, third place – $75
– One overall best-of-show winner will be awarded $200.
Organizers are currently seeking entrants for this show, and applications can be found online by clicking here, or picked up in several locations. Locations include BHC in West Plains, Mountain Grove, and Houston.
Submissions need to be submitted by May 5th, and the show will run May 22nd through the 31st.
Lastly, a “Meet The Artist” event for the show will take place on May 26th at the West Plains Civic Center.
