Eminence man arrested for controlled substances and other charges Friday afternoon

West Plains, MO. – On March 25, 2023, at approximately 3:33 p.m., a member of the Howell County Sheriff’s Office, with the assistance of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, was dispatched to an address on County Road 8760 in Howell County about a man who was possibly under the influence and was trespassing on private property. 

The man was identified as Jacob Warren of Eminence, Missouri. Upon further investigation, he was placed under arrest. Warren resisted arrest at the time and had a firearm and a controlled substance on his person during the time of the arrest. Warren was transported to the Howell County Adult Detention Center where he was placed on a 24-hour hold pending formal charges.

An arrest warrant was issued later that evening for Warren on the charges of Resisting/Interfering with arrest for a felony, possession of controlled substance except 35 grams or less of marijuana/synthetic cannabinoid, Unlawful use of weapon – subsection 11 – Possess weapon and a felony controlled substance. Warren’s bond was set at $25,000.00 Cash or Corporate Surety.
