Weather permitting, the route will be closed for pavement repairs Wednesday, April 12 through Thursday, April 13 from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The pavement resurfacing will take place Thursday, April 13 through Friday, April 21 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily, including the weekend if necessary.

The work zone will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to seek an alternate route during the closure. The road will be open to local traffic only during this time. As resurfacing is underway, flaggers will be present, and traffic will be guided through the work zone by a pilot car.

This project is part of Gov. Parson’s Rural Road program. The state’s approved Fiscal Year 2023 budget provided an additional $100 million in General Revenue for work on Missouri’s low-volume rural roads. Using asset management data, MoDOT has identified approximately 1700 lane miles of low-volume roads ranked in Poor Condition. By the end of this summer, these 113 locations will receive resurfacing treatments of hot asphalt to improve road conditions.
