Salem, MO. Pair Injured in Highway P Accident

Salem, MO. – Two individuals have been injured after an April 5th crash roughly 2 miles South of Salem, MO.

The investigator of this accident was Master Sergeant K.D. Wilmont of Troop I of the Missouri State Highway Patrol. The time was 8:40pm, and the location was on Highway P.

James Collins, a 23-year-old Salem, MO. resident was driving a Pontiac GS Northbound. The report does not have information as to what caused the crash, but reads that Collins left the right side of the roadway and struck an embankment.

Both Collins and his 20-year-old passenger, Emily Marill-Hamm of Salem, MO., were not wearing their safety devices and suffered moderate injuries in the crash. Both were transported after the accident to Salem Hospital for treatment.
