Jon Rahm won his first green jacket on Sunday as he beat Brooks Kopeka to win the 2023 Masters Tournament.
It was Jon’s second major championship and the 4th man from Spain to win the tournament
Rahm took home around $3.24 million as the winner of the Masters. It’s the most that any Masters winner has ever won as the tournament’s champion. The total purse is $18 million.
Scottie Scheffler won $2.7 million last year. The total purse was $15 million.
Phil Mickelson and Brooks Kopek tied for 2nd and both took home $1.5 million. Jordan Spieth, Patrick Reed and Russell Henley tied for 4th and took home $744,000.
Amateur Sam Bennett tied for 16th, but he couldn’t take home any money, otherwise he would have received $261,000
Keith Mitchell finished in 53rd and received $43,200.
