Catherine Elizabeth Hummel, 64, of Mountain Home, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, April 12, 2023, in Mountain Home. Catherine was born to Gordan and Roberta (Nipp) Jewell in Berwyn, Illinois on September 13, 1958. She was an 8-year veteran of the United States Army and held her time in the service proudly and with great pride and honor. She loved Christmas as well as the bike rallies in Sturgis. She loved riding her motorcycle and feeling the freedom and wind in her hair. She had many fond memories, but one she spoke of often was camping with her mother at Porterfield. She was a woman of great strength and determination, and a whole lot of stubbornness. Catherine fought long and hard, but the Lord had a greater purpose for her and called her home to be with Him.
Catherine was preceded in death by her father, Gordan Jewell; a sister, Louann Labrun (Mark); two brothers, Mike and Timmy Jewell; a stepson, Nicholas Hummel and father-in-law, Richard Hummel.
Catherine is survived by her husband of the home, Gregory ‘’Greg’’ Hummel; her mother, Roberta Jewell; daughter, Jennifer Barry (Nathan);sons, Andrew Dahl and Adam Beyersdorf; step daughter, Carrie Nemetz (Josh); brothers, Ronnie Jewell and David Nipp (Megan);sisters, Linda Zajac (Terry) and Jackie Bennett (Steve); mother-in- law, Gloria Hummel; grandchildren, Jacqueline Barry, Austin Barry, Makayla Dahl, Makenzie Dahl, Jaxson Nemetz and Owen Nemetz; great grandchildren, Keaton, Max, Anthony, Lyric and Hunter and many more family and friends she was loved by.
