Gamaliel, AR. – The Lake Norfork Fireworks 10th Annual Bass Fishing Tournament is set to begin tomorrow, and is a prelude to an even bigger event in July.
This event is put on yearly by the Lake Norfork Fireworks Association, a non-profit group that exists purely for the benefit of bringing in funds for the yearly fireworks display at Lake Norfork.
However, while this bass fishing tournament is a fundraiser for that fireworks display, that doesn’t mean it won’t be a good time on its own. Early registration for this tournament is already underway, and can be joined by calling Jenni Coan, the events organizer for the LNFA. She can be reached by calling 870 743 3397. Walk-up registration will also begin tomorrow morning beginning at 5:30am at the Panther Bay arena.
Registration for this event is $65 per team, with an optional Big Bass Pot at $10. There are prizes for 1st through 6th place, with the 1st place pot being $750.
Those who wish to donate to the fireworks fund, but aren’t an angler themselves, can do so by going to https://go.rallyup.com/lakenorforkfireworks2023.
