Ava, MO. – A man wanted in Douglas County for multiple warrants was arrested earlier this week in the Seymour area. On May 22nd, 2023, Joshua Lingo, age 34, was located by Seymour Police and Webster County Sheriff’s deputies on West State Highway 14 and County Road 533.
Lingo had an active Douglas County Warrant. In the past few months; Lingo had been in several pursuits, evading arrest. Deputies were able to take the wanted man into custody without incident.
The Douglas County warrant originated from a case in February, where a portable sawmill was reported stolen.
Lingo has the following active warrants:
Douglas County-Stealing $750 or more (Class D Felony). Bond $10000.00 Cash with Bond Conditions: GPS placed before release by CPS. No Contact with victim or his residence.
Christian County-Probation Violation. Original Charges Tampering with Motor Vehicle 1st Degree, Burglary 2nd Degree, Arson 2nd Degree Bond is set at Capias, No Bond. Greene County-Failure to Appear-Possession of Controlled Substance. Bond set at $1500 cash or surety.
