Gainesville, MO. – A dump truck has recently crashed into the back of a vehicle on Highway 5, and injuries have occurred as a result.
This crash happened on June 14th at roughly 8:30 am on the Northbound lane of Highway 5, around 3 miles South of Gainesville. Investigation of this crash was performed by Corporal N.J. Britt of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Troop G.
An International dump truck, driven by 20-year-old Peace Valley resident Keldon Kimbrough collided with the back of a Ford Explorer as a line of stopped traffic formed ahead of them.
The driver of the Explorer, 41-year-old Mountain Home, AR. resident Jessica Petty, received moderate injuries in the accident. She was then transported to Baxter Health in Mountain Home for treatment.
