Poplar Bluff, MO. – A child from Doniphan and one other have been injured following a crash North of Poplar Bluff on Thursday.
This accident occurred in Troop E territory of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, and was investigated by Corporal E.M. Westmoreland. The time of the crash was 8:20pm, and took place on US 67.
In this crash, both vehicles were moving Northbound. Operating a Chevy Impala was Amber Hurt, a 33-year-old female from Doniphan. Hurt crashed when she struck the back of a Jeep Cherokee, driven by Angelina Baker of Varina, NC.
A 12-year-old girl in Hurt’s vehicle, and the North Carolina driver sustained moderate injuries in the accident, and were taken to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical for treatment. All were wearing their safety devices.
