Salem, MO. – One of the women involved in a pair of unrelated murders in the beginning of this month is seeing her list of charges grow with an added charge of Theft by Receiving, a class D felony.
This comes in addition to her original charges of 1st Degree Murder and Abuse of a corpse as a result of the investigation of the death of David Southerland, 59 of Viola, AR. Southerland was found on June 1st at the gate of a property on 1174 Briarwood Road with severe damage including a gunshot, burns, and a piece of barbed wire wrapped around his neck.

Stacie Hickman was found on June 2nd in the victim’s vehicle at the State Highway Department building, which had been reported as stolen.
