Ava 18-Year-Old Crashes, Receives Criminal Charges

Bradleyville, MO. – A teen from Ava has been reported as having crashed early this morning just after midnight, and is receiving criminal charges.

This crash took place in Taney County, on Highway 76, roughly 1.5 miles East of Bradleyville, MO.

Jayce Terrell, 18 of Ava, was driving a GMC Yukon Eastbound when he ran off the roadway and overturned at around 12:11am this morning. The Yukon was totaled, and Terrell was taken to Cox South in Springfield for moderate injuries he sustained in the event.

Additionally, Terrell was found to be intoxicated at the time of the crash, and is receiving charges as a result. Charges include DWI, Careless and Imprudent Driving Involving an Accident, no Seatbelt, and Violating the Provisions of an Intermediate License.

The investigator of this crash was Trooper Z.T. Costley of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Troop D.
