West Plains Rock Snake in Galloway Up to 36 Feet

West Plains, MO. – Last week, City Officials with the City of West Plains discovered the start of a public project started by an anonymous individual.

A lone sign was left next to a painted rock stating the name and goal of this rock. It’s called Roscoe the Rock Snake, and the challenge is for others to make other painted rocks to add to the chain, to see how long it can get.

Senior Planning Technician Evan Kinder with the City recently measured the snake after a week of being up, and it has currently grown to 36 feet.
