West Plains, MO. – As we go through this first full week of July and begin cleaning up the remains of fireworks and leftovers from July 4th celebrations, don’t forget you can take a break from those activities to see arts events going on in West Plains.
Terry Hampton with the West Plains Arts Alliance gives us an update on said events, which includes the West Plains Public Library, and the Yellow House.
At the West Plains Public Library, a “Meet the Artist” event will be held from 1pm to 3pm for the “Honest Imaginations” exhibit where the public can discuss the pieces on display with the artist who made them.
Meanwhile, on Saturday, the Yellow House will be holding a live music event, which includes bands Broken Knuckle, Creek Stink, and Brother Paint. In addition, a local artist will be displaying their crafts in the quilt medium. This starts at 7pm.
