Fulton County Man Arrested With Drugs After Burglarizing Residence

Hardy, AR. – A 55-year-old man was arrested in late June after he was accused of burglarizing a house.

Filing of this case began in late July with official charges being issues on July 31st. According to the affidavit on the case, the origin of this incident was on June 27th, when a home was reported as being broken into and burgled at the 1400 block of Wolf Hollow Circle in Hardy, AR.

Law enforcement spoke with the resident victim of the property, who was able to identify a suspect in the case, as well as the vehicle he had driven away in.

The suspect was identified as Jerry Clements, who had driven away in a gray Chevy pickup truck. On June 28th, the vehicle was found near Cold Springs Access, and Jerry Clements was found and arrested not long after. Clements was additionally found with evidence of drug use.

Criminal charges include Felony Residential Burglary, Felony Possession of Drug Paraphernalia – cocaine, heroin, or fentanyl, and Misdemeanor Theft of Property.
