West Plains, MO. – The Missouri State Highway Patrol has released a report on the crash that occurred yesterday during the noon hour North of West Plains on U.S. 63.
The investigation of this accident was performed by Trooper A.K. Falterman of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Troop G.
The driver was identified as Sarah Elrod, a 26-year-old female who is listed as being from Rolla, MO. The vehicle, a Ford F150, was totaled in the accident. Elrod was driving in the Southbound lane, and is listed as having left the roadway, going airborne, and overturning and resting in the Northbound lane of U.S. 63.
Elrod’s injuries were listed as being serious in severity, and she was taken by air ambulance services to Cox South in Springfield for treatment.
