62nd Annual Hootin’ an’ Hollarin’ returns to Gainesville Sept. 21-23

Gainesville, MO. – The 62nd Annual Hootin’ an’ Hollarin’ festival returns to Gainesville, Missouri on September 21st through the 23rd. Tons of entertaining activities are planned for the three-day event including a parade, bed and outhouse races, a cornhole tournament, calling contests (including husband calling), gun & archery contests, and musical entertainment all day.

H&H 2023 Booth Layout

School fundraising will be held on the north side of Main Street. 

The cornhole tournament will be held on Saturday, September 22 at 10 a.m. in the Amyx parking lot. On Friday and Saturday after 4 p.m., old fashioned free games for kids will be held here.

The Archery/Shotgun shoot will be held at 9 a.m. on Saturday across Highway 160 from the festival grounds on the Square in Gainesville. 

Live music will be performed on the stage to the south of the courthouse. Square Dance platforms will be set up near the stage.

Finally, the big parade will be held at 2 p.m.
