West Plains, MO. – The West Plains Fire Department and the Howell Rural Fire Department responded to a dispatch this morning about a semi that caught ablaze.
According to Dave Masterson at the scene, the cabin of the vehicle was building smoke and the operator of the vehicle attempted to stop to locate the source but was unable to before it escalated. Fire crews were called shortly after.

Both fire suppression crews managed to put out the fire after it had totaled the vehicle by burning it down to its base.
