Baxter County Man Faces Felony Charges After Stealing & Crashing Vehicle

Gassville, AR. – One individual has been taken into custody and is looking at felony charges after an event where he supposedly blacked out, stole a car, and crashed it, only to later turn himself in.

This event started on August 19th, when an individual had contacted law enforcement to tell them that her vehicle was missing, as well as giving a statement on tools that were inside the vehicle.

The stolen property was secured when the vehicle was found in a church parking lot the same day, damaged from striking a power pole and a dumpster.

On August 20th, Bryar Jacob Bone, a 24-year-old Gassville, AR. resident, turned himself in at the local police department via admitting to the theft, stating he was not coherent at the time. He went on to state he had intended to return everything before wrecking the vehicle.

Bone was taken into custody, charged with Felony Theft of Property and Felony 1st Degree Criminal Mischief, and will also be facing additional charges due to parole violation.
