Fannie Mayy Szura, 71, daughter of the late James Elmer and Caroline Mayy (Dreyer) Smith, was born September 22, 1951, in Grove City, Pennsylvania, and departed this life September 3, 2023.
Fannie moved with her family to California at the age of 5, where she grew up and attended school. She was united in marriage to James Donald Szura on September 9, 1972. Two sons were born to this union. The family moved to Mountain Grove, Missouri, in the late 80’s. Fannie enjoyed arts, crafts, and crocheting.
Besides her parents, Fannie was preceded in death by her husband, James D. Szura.
Fannie is survived by two sons, Adam LeRoy Szura and his wife, Joellyn, of Springfield, Missouri, and James Joseph Szura and his wife, Margie, of Mountain Grove, Missouri; eight grandchildren, Madison and Claire Szura, Mathew and Brandon Moore, Johnathan, Christopher, Nicholas, and Alexander Szura; six great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends who will miss her greatly.
