Rebecca Madge (Booth) Helming

Rebecca Madge (Booth) Helming, 73, of Moko, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, September 12, 2023, at Moko, Arkansas. Rebecca was born August 27, 1950, to George Emmitt Booth and Molly Glacine (Secrease) Booth in Salem, Arkansas.

Rebecca was united in marriage to David Gene Helming on October 14, 1967, in Moko, Arkansas. Rebecca worked as a nurse’s aide for many years. Rebecca loved spending time with family, church, church family, quilting, gardening, and fishing. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, friend, and was a member of the Crossroads Baptist Church in Ash Flat, Arkansas.

Rebecca is survived by her husband, David G. Helming of Moko, Arkansas; son, David E. Helming and wife Amber of Moko, Arkansas; daughter, Annette D. Harris and husband Ted of Moko, Arkansas; nine grandchildren, Shawn Helming (Carly), Ashlee Rollins (Adam), Benjamin Helming, Tia Barker (Kyle), Tiffany Wells (Joe), Toni Swartz, McKenzie Clairday (Preston), John Stroud, and Brennen Owens; fourteen great grandchildren, Ryleigh Rollins, Layton Rollins, Beverly Rollins, Brielle Helming, and Ryan Helming; sister, Kathryn Gilstrap and husband Bob of Melbourne, Arkansas; and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded by her parents (Emmitt and Glacine Booth), four sisters (Patsy Ray, Sue Rich, Georgia Lee Honeycutt, and Beverly Robbins), maternal grandparents (Noah and Lucy Booth), and paternal grandparents (Samuel and Ollie Secrease).

Funeral services will be Sunday, September 17, 2023, at Crossroads Baptist Church in Ash Flat, Arkansas, with Bro. Henry Parker officiating. Visitation will be 4:00 P.M.-6:00 P.M. Saturday, September 16, 2023, at Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas. Interment will be Sunday, September 17, 2023, in the Stateline Cemetery in Moko, Arkansas. Pallbearers will be Shawn Helming, Benjamin Helming, Adam Rollins, Charles Slater, Aaron Robbins, and Richard “Shawn” Winters. Honorary pallbearers will be John Stroud, Lee Dees, Tyler Dees, David Hill, and Brian Honeycutt. Memorials may be made to the Stateline Cemetery Association. Arrangements are under the direction of Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas.
