Pioneer Days in Mountain View Kicks Off Saturday

Mountain View, MO. – Pioneer era themes will be making their appearance in downtown Mountain View once again as the 33rd Annual Pioneer Days Festival makes its appearance on September 30th, this Saturday.

Organizers are touting that over 120 vendors will be available for the public, as well as various events and activities all day.

Preambling the event is the yearly Ham and Bean dinner from 4-7. This takes place at the Mountain View Community Center, and costs $7 per adult, and $5 for kids 12 and under.

On Saturday, pancake breakfast will be held starting at 8am along with the opening ceremony of the festival. Live music will begin after the opening and will continue through the day. Dancing events and mule jumping events will occur in the afternoon, and the parade is planned for 4pm.

In addition to all that will be a car show, a quilt show, pony rides, a dunking booth, games, and a lot more.
