West Plains, MO. – A West Plains man was arrested after two women reported a man exposing himself at the Georgia White walking park.
James Meese, age 37 of West Plains, was arrested on September 22, 2023, on a warrant for two charges of 1st-degree sexual misconduct.
According to the probable cause statement, the first incident occurred on September 13th. A woman reported to the West Plains Police that a man, later identified as Meese, had exposed his sexual organ to her and she had left the park.
The second incident occurred on September 19th when a separate woman reported she had seen the man sitting in his car with the door open and performing a sexual act upon himself.
Meese is currently on probation for indecent exposure from an incident in September 2021 and on felony probation for burglary.
According to online court documents, Meese was released on a $5,000 surety bond on Tuesday, September 26, 2023.
