Hartshorn, MO. – A Texas County ATV crash has led to injuries for a pair of teens, with one needing air ambulance services for injuries sustained.
Trooper J.M. Kenyon of Troop G was the responding investigator from the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
According to the report, this accident involved the operation of a Honda Rancher ATV on Dewitt Drive, one mile North of Hartshorn. At 5:45pm, the driver, a 14-year-old male juvenile from Hartshorn, travelled off the road and was ejected along with one passenger.
The passenger was listed as a 15-year-old female juvenile from Eunice, MO. The female sustained only minor injuries, but the male 14-year-old was seriously injured. A helicopter service from Mercy in Springfield was called for transport to Mercy Hospital.
