Howell County Sheriff’s Office Receives New Employee Through DoD SkillBridge Program

West Plains, MO. – Earlier this week, the Howell County Sheriff’s Office took to social media to announce that they will be welcoming a new employee to their office under somewhat different circumstances.

The new employee is Jason McDaniel, an active duty First Sergeant in the U.S. Army. This comes about through the Department of Defense’s SkillBridge Program, which is meant to give active military servicemen a chance to gain experience in the workforce during their last half a year of service.

First Sergeant McDaniel will be a full-time member of operations command staff, which is designed to help organize and manage staff through a variety of operations.

The Sheriff’s Office has also provided a link to both apply for the SkillBridge program, as well as a short biography of their new addition.
