Willow Springs, MO. – One individual from Willow Springs was seriously hurt after they were ejected from the tractor they were operating on Tuesday, December 5th.
A Farmall tractor was being driven down County Road 5800, four miles west of Willow Springs, when the driver, identified as Justin Newman, 35 of Willow Springs, ran off the right side of the roadway at 2:10 p.m. The tractor ended up striking a tree and was totaled in the collision.
The driver was ejected during the accident and was inflicted with serious injuries as a result. Air ambulance services were deemed necessary for transport, and Air-Evac services were called to take Newman to Cox South in Springfield.
The investigator of this crash was Trooper J.M. Kenyon of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Troop G.
