A man from St. Louis is facing a felony charge and more after fleeing from multiple law enforcement agencies through multiple counties.
This event took place on Saturday, December 23rd. According to the probable cause affidavit on the case, law enforcement in Howell County attempted to stop a vehicle driven by Barry Perry, 38 of St. Louis, before Perry intentionally fled the police around the noon hour. Perry alleges he got scared and fled, and that the police were trying to stop him without cause.
Perry fled eastbound on Highway 60, exceeding speeds of 125mph in some places. He is noted as having also driven through the city of Cabool traveling 80 to 90 miles an hour. Within an hour of the event taking place, the Highway Patrol had arrested Perry, and he was taken into custody.
Perry is facing a felony charge of Resisting Arrest by Fleeing, and Exceeding Posted Speed Limits by 26mph or more.
