Charlene E. Pilcher, a resident of Willow Springs, passed away Wednesday, December 27, 2023, while at Willow Care Nursing Home due to natural causes. Charlene was born May 6, 1927, in Springfield, MO to Charles Pinkney and Verbie Jane (Wyatt) Davis and was 96 years old.
Charlene married the love of her life, John Thorton Pilcher, on October 1, 1955. Charlene spent all her time loving and caring for her family. She enjoyed many homemaker activities, such as embroidery, sewing, cooking, and gardening. While she was able to attend, she was an avid member of CrossWay Fellowship Church. She will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew her.
Charlene was preceded in death by her husband, John Pilcher; her parents, Charles and Verbie; her sister, Ruby Walsh; her sister, Gladys Butler; and her brother, John Gossage.
She is survived by her daughter, Janice Stines; her son, Mike Pilcher; her daughter, Cathy Hull; six grandchildren, and many more loved great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
A visitation for Charlene will be held at Willow Funeral Home, LLC on Wednesday, January 3, 2023, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM with the funeral service immediately following with Pastor Dennis Walton officiating. Interment will then be held at Howell Memorial Park Cemetery in Pomona. Arrangements are under the direction of Willow Funeral Home, LLC.
