Dean Arthur Daniels of Mountain View, Missouri, son of Minor and Olga (Gimpel) Daniels, was born on April 12, 1937, in Randolph, Kansas. He departed this life on January 4, 2024, at home at the age of 86, with his wife and four sons around him.
Dean was united in marriage to, Beverly Jean Hood on September 8, 1967, in Thomasville, Missouri, at the preacher’s house. Dean and Beverly were married for 56 years, and to this union, four sons were born.
He lived most of his life on their farm. He served two years in the U.S. Army before working at Rawlings for several years. He logged and worked at the Post Office in Mountain View for 20 years before he retired.
Dean is preceded in death by his parents, Minor and Olga Daniels; brothers, Floyd Daniels, Donald Dale Daniels, and Raymond Daniels; and sister, Blanche Daniels.
Survivors include his wife, Beverly Daniels; four sons, Scott (Annette) Daniels of Mountain View, MO, Kevin (Tiffany) Daniels of Mountain View, Matthew (Sarah Brooke) Daniels of Birch Tree, MO, and John (Jessi) Daniels of Summersville, MO; sisters-in-law, Carolyn Daniels and Connie Fann; 13 grandchildren, Derek (Kayla), Kailyn (Tad), Luke, Cami (Houston), Kaden, Tru, Keegun, Kenzie, Bre, Sky, Darra, Bly, Dava; 3 great-grandchildren, Kepler, Jaelyn, Sage; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Dean loved farming and logging and loved his grandchildren. Dean was saved at a young age in Simms Valley, Missouri.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 8, 2024, at Howell Memorial Park Cemetery, Pomona, Missouri, with Pastor Jeremiah Nichols officiating. Visitation will be held Sunday, January 7, 2024, from 6-8:00 p.m. at Yarber Mortuary, Mountain View, Missouri. Condolences may be expressed at www.yarbermortuary.com.
