MOUNTAIN HOME, AR – The Baxter County Library is excited to announce a new literary lineup for the popular “Book Club in a Bag” program. This well-loved initiative is getting a fresh update with a selection of new books, providing an excellent opportunity for friend groups or book clubs to explore captivating reads and spark lively discussions.
Book Club in a Bag allows patrons to check out a canvas bag containing at least five copies of the same book, along with a list of discussion questions. This innovative program has been a favorite among readers, providing a convenient way to enjoy engaging book club discussions.
The latest additions to the Book Club in a Bag program include The House in the Cerulean Sea by TJ Klune, Lessons in Chemistry by Bonnie Garmus, Hadley Beckett’s Next Dish by Bethany Turner, Talking to Strangers by Malcolm Gladwell, The Midnight Library by Matt Haig, and The Four Winds by Kristin Hannah. This updated selection ensures that readers can discover new literary gems and explore various genres through their book club discussions.
Rachel Mooney, a member of a local book club known as “Beyond the Book,” shared her excitement about the program. “This was a fantastic way of getting books for our club to read!” Rachel said. Their first book club meeting was 2 years ago this month, and they have been meeting monthly ever since. The Library is grateful to be a part of the “Beyond the Book” book club’s literary journey and encourages other book clubs or friends to explore the diverse offerings of the Book Club in a Bag program.
