Steven Ray Schull, a resident of Willow Springs, passed away at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, on Friday, January 5, 2024. Steven was born August 8, 1949, in Willow Springs, MO to Joseph and Lucille (Trullinger) Schull and was 74 years old.
Steven proudly served in the United States Navy where he did multiple tours of duty in Vietnam. During his service he completed his GED and became an engineman onboard a destroyer class warship. Following his service, he worked as a wastewater operator at Equistar Chemical. On July 25, 1987, he married Rosalie Beenken in Willow Springs. In his free time, he enjoyed selling jewelry at Flea Markets, playing solitaire, hunting, and bird watching. He will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him.
Steven was preceded in death by his wife, Rose, and his parents, Joseph and Lucille.
Steven is survived by his son, Tim Schull; his son, Les Robbins; his daughter, Tina Robbins and husband, Steve Bales; his brother, Jim Schull; his sister, Sharon Anfinson; his sister, Karen Hayes; his sister, Susan Webb; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A visitation for Steven will be held at Willow Funeral Home, LLC on Wednesday, January 10, 2024, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A graveside funeral service will be held at Pine Grove Cemetery at 11:00 AM Thursday, January 11, 2024, with Pastor Jeff Conger officiating.
