The West Plains Zizzers took on the Kickapoo Chiefs in Springfield on Friday night and had a rough go.
The first quarter saw the Zizzers have difficulty hanging on to the ball, causing 10 turnovers and leading to a score of Zizzers trailing 3 to 11. The Zizzers fell further behind in the second quarter as turnovers continued to be a problem. The halftime score was Zizzers 15, Chiefs 24.
During the third quarter, the Zizzers fell further behind. The fourth quarter started with the Zizzers behind by 17 and it would only get worse. By the final buzzer, West Plains would be trailing by 30 points.
The West Plains Zizzers fall to the Kickapoo Chiefs, 41 to 71. The Zizzers next play on Saturday, Feb. 3rd, at 1 p.m. against the Forsyth Panthers.
