Ava, MO. – Three men have been arrested after evidence was reviewed and a 35-year-old cold case was revisited.
News of this event came out yesterday, February 22nd as the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office held a press conference. Bobby Lee Banks, Leonard Banks, and Wiley Belt are now looking at charges including 1st Degree Murder, Kidnapping, and Forcible Rape.

The criminal investigation involves the death of Kelle Ann Workman, whose corpse was found 8 days after her initial disappearance.
Multiple agencies were involved in the investigation of the case, as well as the apprehension of the suspects, with the main focus being from the Christian and Douglas County Sheriff’s Departments.
