Connie Mae Bunn, 65 years, and 23 days old, passed away on March 1, 2024 in her home with family by her side.
Connie was born February 9, 1959 in Fort Morgan, Colorado to Leonard and Dorothy (Harr) Forbes.
She was a Christian, and she graduated from Mt. Zion Bible School in 1976. Connie attended Brush Arbor Church of God (Holiness).
On August 19, 1978, she and Greg Bunn were united in marriage in Greeley, Colorado. Together they were blessed with their daughter, Jennifer.
In Mexico, Missouri, Connie worked for Gold Crest Distributing as a mail room coordinator. She worked for them 18 years. When Connie retired she and Greg moved to the Ava community in 2020. Connie enjoyed fishing, gardening, and bird watching. She also loved to travel with her family.
Connie was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Stanley and Rodney Forbes; and a brother-in-law, Glenn Hockmeyer.
Connie is survived by her husband Greg; daughter, Jennifer; a sister, Marilyn Hockmeyer and a brother, Gaylan Forbes; sister and brother-in-law, George and Edlyn Donovan; several nieces; nephews and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Connie will be Saturday, March 9, 2024 at 10:30 A.M. in the Clinkingbeard Chapel, Ava, Missouri with burial following in the Mt. Zion Cemetery. Visitation will be that Saturday from 9:00 A.M. to service time. Officiating will be Pastor Nolan Bryant and Pastor Ron Allred. Family requests donations to Mt. Zion Bible School Alumni Association.
