West Plains, MO. – Local small business C7, is holding a different kind of contest based on a product that has received world-wide attention in recent years: a LEGO building competition. The event is free to participate in and the judges will announce the winners on May 4, 2024.
The competition is broken up into three different age categories, which are, 6-11, 12-17, and 18 and older. You can visit the store at any time to build your LEGO creation and building ends at noon on May 4. The will be a grand prize for best-of-show, 3 best-of-group prizes for each category, 3 most creative prizes for each age group, and 6 runner-up prizes. To participate you must show up at the store and ask the owner about the competition and then you start. You do not have to be present on May 4 to win.
The rules for the LEGO building competition are as follows:
- You have to use C7’s bulk LEGO bins and build them in one in-store sitting.
- All creations can’t weigh more than 1.5 pounds.
- There are no theme requirements.
- All creations will be judged by 4 non-C7 employees at 1 p.m. on May 4, 2024.
- C7 retains all creations to sell or display (creation designer gets first right of refusal).
- Each person gets one free entry, if you wish to have more than one it is $10 per extra entry.
- Prizes will be a mix of LEGO and other non-LEGO collectibles carried by the C7 store.
