Bull Shoals Lake, AR. – The Marion County Sheriff’s Office has updated the public on the investigation of the death that was discovered earlier this month when witnesses called law enforcement about the body of a woman floating in Bull Shoals Lake.
The body of the woman was found on April 11th, and investigation afterward revealed the woman to be Sharon Rose Harris, 80 of Rowlett, Texas. After the discovery, Harris’ body was sent to the State Medical Examiners office for an autopsy to reveal the cause of death. As of yesterday, the results of that examination were revealed.
Marion County Sheriff Gregg Alexander has stated that the results of the autopsy show that the cause of death was conclusively drowning, and that the manner of death was accidental.
