Mountain View, MO. – According to a recent social media post, the city of Mountain View has a new temporary Volunteer Coordination Center for the zip code 65548 as tornado cleanup and recovery operations take place.
The new coordination center is located at the First Baptist Church of Mountain View, and those who wish to assist residents free-of-charge are asked to call 417-934-2621 and provide their contact information for coordinators to do their work.
This number also applies to those who may require the assistance of volunteers to clean up their residence or a lot due to damage.
The call center will be available starting today until the 31st, and June 3rd through the 7th. Calls will be accepted from 8am until 5pm. In addition, if contact is required after hours, you can e-mail KLittletonMVFBC@gmail.com.
