Update: Serious Injuries Sustained In Crash Between Passenger Vehicle And Loaded Horse Trailer

Raymondville, MO. – A crash occurred on the morning of July 3, 2024, between a loaded horse trailer and a passenger vehicle.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, 25-year-old Gretchen White was traveling east on Highway B, when she crossed the center line and struck a westbound truck pulling a loaded horse trailer. White was seriously injured and transported via air to Mercy Hospital in Springfield for treatment. 40-year-old Sarah Wies and a 15-year-old female juvenile, passengers in the westbound truck, both received minor injuries and were transported to Texas County Memorial Hospital. 41-year-old Blake Wies, the driver of the westbound vehicle received moderate injuries and was also transported to Texas County Memorial Hospital.

The extent of the injuries to the four horses that were in the trailer is still unknown. 

This crash was investigated by Trooper J.L. Dedmon and Master Sergeant D.B. Pounds of Troop G.
