Hartville, MO. – A man was seriously injured following a head-on collision on July 3, 2024.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, the accident occurred at 8:08 a.m., 1 mile west of Hartville. 32-year-old Webster Haney, the owner of a 2000 Ford F450, was driving eastbound on MO 38 when he crossed the center line into the path of an oncoming vehicle. Haney struck the oncoming vehicle head-on. 64-year-old Timothy McCroskey, the driver of the second vehicle, was seriously injured in the crash and was transported via ambulance to Mercy Hospital in Springfield for treatment. Haney drove himself to Northside Clinic in Seymour for treatment of minor injuries.
