Plato, MO. – The Missouri Department of Transportation says that a section of roadway in Texas County is expected to receive some roadwork in the next couple of weeks, which means drivers will need to plan for drive-time delays.
This roadwork will take place on Missouri Route 17, on a stretch that spans from around Route AW near Plato, MO., all the way to Route 38 near Houston, MO. This road work is expected to begin on July 29th, and continue through to Thursday, October. Officials state this is due to needed replacement of culverts under the road.

This roadwork will not close the route, but it is expected to take up entire sides of the roadway. No pilot car will be used for the construction area. For more information, call 1-888-275-6636.
