Evelyn Lois Martin, 93, of Ash Flat, Arkansas passed away July 17, 2024 at EagleCrest Nursing and Rehab Center in Ash Flat. She was born September 7, 1930 in Topeka, Kansas to John Franklin and Cecil Margaret Chacey Adams. Evelyn was a faithful member of the Ash Flat Church of Christ and loved celebrating memories with her family and friends. She worked in banking and enjoyed attending auctions.
Survivors include her sons, Stephen Ray and Danny Guy (Jackie), all of Ash Flat; grandchildren: Michael, Robert, Adam, Rebecca, T.J., Amanda, Brandie, Samantha, Sarah, and Danielle; numerous beloved great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Roy Lee Adams and Charles L. Adams, both of Owensboro, Kentucky; many nieces and nephews, other relatives, and good friends.
Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers, and two sisters; her husband, Gordon Ray Martin; and two daughters, Rhonda and Margaret.
Visitation of family and friends will begin at 5 p.m. Wednesday, July 24 in the chapel of Tri-County Funeral Home in Highland, Arkansas. A memorial service celebrating Evelyn’s long and active life will follow at 5:30 p.m.
