Danny Gilbert White, 66, of Mammoth Spring, Arkansas, passed away on Saturday, August 24, 2024, at Mammoth Spring, Arkansas. Danny was born on September 13, 1957, in Vicenza, Italy, to Gilbert Dean White and Marjorie (Portwood) White.
Danny was united in marriage to Brenda Jane McCollum on April 28, 2000, in Las Vegas, Nevada. Danny spent his working years as a Supervisor for Cowart’s Construction, owner/operator of White’s Tire, bus driver for Favorite Fishing and Thayer School, and truck driver for Steed Trucking. Danny was a wonderful husband, good father, awesome grandpa and papa, and would put everyone else first before himself. He was a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle, friend, and was a member of the Salem First Baptist Church in Salem, Arkansas.
Danny leaves behind his wife, Brenda White of Mammoth Spring, Arkansas; son, Justin Lingenfelter (Lacey) of Mammoth Spring, Arkansas; three daughters, Deana Freeman (Seth) of Thayer, Missouri, Sara Henslee (Lennie) of Mammoth Spring, Arkansas, and Hanna Sacra of Mammoth Spring, Arkansas; seven grandchildren, Breanna Lawrence (Dyllan) of Ravenden, Arkansas, Summer Henslee of Mammoth Spring, Arkansas, Bradey Henslee of Mammoth Spring, Arkansas, Brett Henslee of Mammoth Spring, Arkansas, Dan Lingenfelter (Katie) of Mammoth Spring, Arkansas, Gracey Lingenfelter of Mammoth Spring, Arkansas, and Harper Freeman of Thayer, Missouri; four great grandchildren, Wrenley and Kyah Lawrence of Ravenden, Arkansas, Oakley White and Tayla Mask of Mammoth Spring, Arkansas; many other relatives and friends. Hee is preceded in death by his parents (Gilbert and Marjorie), two sisters (Elaine Gibson and Nancy Boozer), and two granddaughters (Katy Maylee Lingenfelter and Miracle Jane Sacra).
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 28, 2024, at 10:00 A.M. at Salem First Baptist Church in Salem, Arkansas with Bro. John Hodges officiating. Visitation will be 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Tuesday, August 27, 2024, at Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas. Interment will be Wednesday, August 28, 2024, at the Tick Ridge Cemetery in Mammoth Spring, Arkansas. Pallbearers will be Dan Lingenfelter, Justin Lingenfelter, Bradey Henslee, Lennie Henslee, Dyllan Lawrence, and Seth Freeman. Honorary pallbearers are Winston Tucker, Terry Tillman, Matt Pitts, John Ketchum, Trey Lewis, Mark Pitts, and Ely Andrews. Memorials may be given to Barker Funeral Home to help the family. Arrangements are entrusted to Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas.
