Arkansas Manhunt Ends with Arrest of Mountain Home Resident

Mountain Home, AR. – A two-and-a-half hour manhunt took place earlier this week on Tuesday, August 27th. Arrested as a result was Kory Adam Charlton, a 33-year-old resident of Mountain Home.

The Baxter County Sheriff’s Department says that this happened after Charlton was spotted by a Park Ranger with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. Knowing he was wanted, the location was reported to local authorities, who then responded. Charlton, upon realizing he had been discovered, leapt from the window of the truck he was near Highway 62 East and fled into a wooded area.
